There are 2 artists called Basak. One of them is working on experimental, lounge music. the other one is Basak Pekdiker who was born in 1985. She has been interested in music all her life, but she didn't have enough courage to go to a conservatoire or a music school. So what she did was to keep taking the education she was already taking. In her school life, she took roles in different activities about music and other than that took piano lessons for 5 years. But since 6 years she hasn't been able to take any courses about music. All she does is to play on her keyboard (because she's away from her piano) and discover the needs of her musical side. She has studied architecture at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul for 3 years, and now studying in Genoa, Italy, as an erasmus student. She also has been an exchange student to Pennsylvania, USA during her high school education. She loves architecture, and enjoys studyig it, too. The only thing that disturbs her that architecture education doesn't allow her to spend as much time as she wants on her passion, music..
