New Threads (stylized as new threads) is a rock band in Boston, Massachusetts, consisting of Jacob Keplinger, Justin Siegel, and James Siegel.

The band self-released their first album Death in the Afternoon on March 24, 2017, after it was recorded by the band in guitarist Jacob Keplinger's dorm room. After a year of shows and promotion, the band released their self-titled second LP NEW THREADS via Pink Hat Records on May 11, 2018, which was driven by the album's successful singles Alcohol and California Bound.

But the band's following only got larger when they released Alone, Leave Me in July of 2018, the band's biggest single to date and the lead single from their upcoming LP Felonious Wilma, which was surprise-released on January 1, 2019. Just a few months later, they recorded Threadsboro in a storage unit, and released it to the world on July 12, 2019.

Following a few months off the radar, the band returned with Bootleg Series, a collection of live in-studio recordings on the band's YouTube page. During the first season, the band released Bringing Me Down (Live on Bootleg Series). The first season ran from October 7 - November 13, 2019, and the entire season was released on Spotify as a live album titled 'Songs from the Vault' on November 29, 2019.

In the new decade, the band quickly found relevance with the release of their fifth studio album Free Rock, which was released worldwide on February 21, 2020 and was supported by the singles "Head in the Sand" and "Sudafed."
