Credited with being one of the founders of the dance music scene in Las Vegas, Robert Oleysyck is perhaps best known as the driving force behind the legendary Utopia, with further residencies at Spundae, Tao, Late Night Empire, Giant, House of Blues, and frequent appearances at other Las Vegas venues such as Godskitchen, Perfecto and Wet Republic.
Having been a Billboard dance panelist reporter since 1997 has further allowed Robert Oleysyck to stay at the forefront in bringing fresh music into his city and worldwide, with his monthly show on Proton Radio. “The Feel Sessions” focuses on exposing quality underground electronic music, blurring the boundaries between genres seamlessly mixed and programmed on the fly, traversing deep, sexy moods, demure textures and uplifting, melodic soundscapes.
As a producer, and partner in label Stainless Digital, Robert Oleysyck can be heard around the world, with support from BBC Radio 1, Ministry of Sound Radio, Proton Radio, Frisky Radio and more. Like his mixing, his production style ranges in diversity, from atmospheric, emotive progressive house, to remixes of artists like Peaches, Esthero, and Rubicon 7, on labels from both the US and Europe. In 2010, a few of his original works and remixes have been featured on multiple issues of the acclaimed Promo Only series of compilations.
