FAME is a Songwriter/Artist/DJ from NYC. She initially caught the ears of listeners when she received an on going slot on famed radio station Hot97 for her collaboration with Sizzla Kolunji on the record "Dont Let Go". Shortly after the release of "Dont Let Go" she collaborated with Bounty Killer, JadaKiss and Focus (from Aftermath) on the record "Drinks Up" that is scheduled to be released on Bounty Killer's much anticipated upcoming album. As a performer, FAME is predominantly rocking the Lower East Side of NYC and has been given the opportunity to permanently be the first act for "End of The Weak" Sunday nights at Pyramid Lounge, the longest running open mic in town. She also performs in showcases atleast twice a month for her fan base. Her performances are quite an experience as she transcends her high energy throughout the crowd on stages such as Santos Party House and Karma Lounge. Her name is quickly catching on and beginning to spread like wildfire throughout the underground hip hop community as well as the music industry. Recently FAME collaborated with fellow songwriter Guordan Banks to form a writing team called "The Righterz". They have been fortunate enough to have collaborated with many producers and songwriters such as Rocwilder, Roy Hamilton, The Jackie Boys, Scott Sax, Kyle Dailey and Dark Child's Atlantic City camp to name a few.
As a new DJ, FAME has already spun the Halloween Party 2009 @ Trump World, and also spun for Details Magazine Block Party...She is known for taking the crowd through a ride of 80s,90s, and recent hits. Her sound has no limit spinning pop, hip hop, dancehall/reggae, house, UK garage and a touch of international eastern sounds.
Her record "Ugly Bitches" is gaining a solid following of fans singing along to the punchy sounds, rap and concept produced by internationally famed DJ Smasherelly, who just got off tour with recording artist Estelle.
