MARCH DIVISION is a rock band founded in late 2010 by Andy Vitali (Vocals, guitars, bass, synths and programming) and Emanuele Platania (Drum and percussions). Few months later Garry Maruti joined them at the bass guitar. Andy and Ema, after playing a bit everywhere in Italy with a previous band, having reached the dream of playing at the Cavern Club in Liverpool and after recording several self produced records, decide to give birth to their own band, faithful to the Brit rock tradition, adding influences of psychedelia, synth pop and folk. They sing about love in post-atomic landscapes, wars of modern times, failures of modern society, memories of youth, suburban hopes and dreams as a way out.They want the band to go beyond the boundaries of a single nation to spread their music, visions and concepts wherever possible.
The band released through the web some songs of their upcoming self produced album in March 2011 when they started to play the set in live gigs.
Their debut LP "Radio daydream" will be released by My Place Records through Venus distribution this autumn along with the video of the single "Let it down".
A promotional video for the track "Another story" is going to be released in the next weeks.
