In Lieu is the moniker of English/Tasmanian multi instrumentalist/solo artist and producer Martin Ruffin, born in 1989. Self taught on a variety of instruments and picking up production by stealing a key to his schools music block to stay late and figure out how to record his own work, he's since been using this medium to channel his self-destructive/schizophrenic nature, with varying degrees of success.
