Solid Ground Lyrics

Seems the higher I reach*
The further down I fall
Days when I look in the mirror
It seems nothing there at all

Rain keeps falling and falling
And flood water rising around
I'll just lean on her
She's my solid ground

When she wakes me in the morning
Sends me on my way
And the goodbye kiss is just enough
To get me through my day
When the earth starts to shake
Hard times are coming down
I'll just lean on her
She's my solid ground

These days its hard to find
A love that's really true
Heaven only knows where I'd be
If I lost you
