October Light is a Croatian Ska-rock band made of 5 members having Horvat for their last name. Their musical expression provides an original point of view on reality and speaks to their personal experience with people and God.
Through their music, performance and above all energy, October Light brings every crowd to its feet. Next to the standard rock-set their instruments include a trumpet, trombone, and a saxophone, as well as various synths and loops, which enables them to produce all kinds of sound combinations and offer an unforgettable musical experience.
In their career since 2005. they have been sharpening their musical craft on big and small stages across the European music scene. Some of the Countries they have performed in include Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Austria, France, Sweden, and Denmark, and they have shared the spotlight with names like Switchfoot, Relint K, Pillar, Family Force Five, The O.C. Supertones, Five Iron Frenzy and many others.
A big step in their career was the artistic collaboration with one of the major faces of the American ska scene Matt Morginsky – Mojo (The O.C. Supertones). Mojo & October Light released their album ”Everything Will Be Made Right” in May 2010.
