Unquiet Nights are a Rock & Roll band from Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Starting out as the moniker under which guitarist/singer Luke Mathers would release songs in 2005, Unquiet Nights became a full band when long-time collaborator Rodger Firmin joined on drums. They released first album 21st Century Redemption Songs in 2012 which helped the band break onto UK national radio with Shoulda Said Something, Someone's Love on Drugs and Burning The Tracks.

They toured extensively, reaching 9 countries including supports with bands like Bloc Party (@Scala, London), Toploader (@Kasbah, Coventry) as well as headline shows in their native Belfast.

Second album Postcards in Real Time arrived in 2015, with the addition of Francesco Piciucchi on Keys & Bass. Singles from this album were Love Leave Your Mark on Me, and Constellations of She, however it was George Best City that gained the band the most attention to date. It was used in several documentary series including Sky Sport 1's Federico Buffa Racconta in Italy. This lead to the band's in-studio appearance on Sky's Calciomercato program in Milan, and other appearances such as Roxy Bar w/ Red Ronnie in Bologna.

The band followed this with a trio of standalone singles starting with Promise of You and Young Believers in 2018, and Four Winds in 2019.

“…Unquiet Nights are a great band with tons of energy and swagger that will excite fans of groups like The Strypes, The Vines, Nirvana, and Bloc Party. Have a listen!” – Greg Richling, The Wallflowers.

“Chugs and roars along at a fair old pace, with aequal amounts of attitude and swagger.”
– Pete Donaldson, Absolute Radio.

“Music of the highest, cloud-reaching calibre. Actually quite beautiful.”
– Aaron Phillips, Amazing Radio.

“A great rock track. Moody, but not one that revels in it – there’s a sense of urgency in there. Bit of a journey, all told.” – Pete Donaldson, Absolute Radio. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
