Cosmo Tech is the psy trance project formed by the DJs Yuri and Azyz (aka Roberto) in 2005, established in Brasilia (capital of Brazil). Their music are marked by the fullon hi-tech style, where equipments of last generation are used, as PowerMAC G5, Motu 2408 mk3, Virus Polar TI, PowerCore Compact, UAD-1 UltraPak, Kaos Pad 3, Genelech speakers and lots of Virtual Instruments. For production, Logic Pro 7.1 is the prefered software and for presentations, Ableton Live. In live acts, Yuri usually plays e-drum Roland SPD-20 and Dj Azyz plays Nord Lead 2x synth, adding some improvisations on their tracks. The project comes to rise up in the national trance scene, playing in many events all over the country and in the great festivals, as, Universo Paralello Festival 7 e 8 (Ituberá-BA, New Year 2006/07/08), Earthdance (Pirinopolis-GO, set/2006), Fora-do-Tempo Festival (Carolina-MA, jul/2006) and Samsara Festival (Uberlandia-MG, nov/2006), as well as at side of great names of the international trance scene, as, Penta, Tristan, Zen Mechanics, Space Cat, Psysex, Headroom, Cosmosis, X-Noize, Wrecked Machines, Naked Tourist, Hujaboy, Infected Mushroom and many others. Cosmo Tech released two psychoactive tracks ("Upgrading System" and "One Crazy Trip") in V.A. Germination, the 1st compilation of the new brazilian label, Dutch Flowers Records.
