Pie Are Squared is a side project of Mohammed Ashraf 'SikSik', one of the three members of the Egyptian post-rock band Feed Me!. It is somewhat a departure from his other bands' music, taking on a darker, more experimental approach.

Pie Are Squared began as an attempt to learn about different recording and production techniques, but then after the tracks started to take shape, Mohammed decided to make them into an album and release them. The four tracks that comprise the Pie Are Squared EP where written and recorded in the same order in which they're placed in on the album itself, making it a more autobiographical work, a documentation of the year passed. As well as a form of tribute to the many artists that helped shape up Mohammed's musical personality.
