Patrick Maclan (born July 14, 1991), better known under the abbreviation Pmac, is a Filipino-American filmmaker and former rapper from the Bay Area. He is most known for his song “One”, which gained over ten million views on the popular hip hop promoting channel SwagyTracks.

Pmac was raised in the diverse environment of the San Francisco Bay Area. He attended El Camino high school, a local high school. As a teenager in the late 2000s, Pmac began rapping, eventually producing two amateur mixtapes, with 2011’s First Impression holding the sacred hit single “One.” During this time, he performed with a collective of friends called Versatile Fam, rapping in small venues and collaborating with each other.

However, Pmac was drawn by the behind-the-scenes world of creation, eventually quitting rapping in the mid-2010s. In 2014-2015, he planned a debut feature film called Skywalkers, but the project was never released. Since then, Pmac has held down a number of jobs, but primarily works on the sets of films, commercials, and music videos. His collaborations with Filipino Bay Area rapper P-Lo led him to direct for rapper G-Eazy on “Light This Bitch Up” and hip hop mogul E-40 on “Put Me on Somethin'. In 2018, Pmac expressed a desire to rap again, but has seemingly abandoned the idea of a comeback.
