Hailing from the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC, Whiskey & the Kidney Stones seem to wallow in the depths of depravity. The sort of material Jack Black would consider too juvenile for Tenacious D is the perfect fit for this collection of metal geeks. Themes like beating up people in wheelchairs and scat-loving dogs dominate their sets. Fronted by Whiskey Dixxx (it's wise to find a pseudonym when you deliver lyrics like "I once stapled my butthole shut"), the band lives down to their self-described "retard rock" genre.
