23 year old Matias Saabye Køedt, better known by his alias Galimatias, is an electronic music producer/artist from Denmark. Although difficult to rope his music into a single genre, it has be described as vibey, chilled-out atmospheric electronic, and incorporates a wide range of influences including R&B and Hip hop to name a few. After several years producing music for various Danish rap artists during his adolescence, Galimatias released his first solo EP in 2012 entitled "Luna Soul." Since then, he has increasingly become more focused on exploring his creative potential and in doing so, started collaborating with various other electronic artists.

In late 2013, Køedt started working with US-based vocalist Alina Baraz, with whom he collaborated on three different songs. These quickly gained massive attention online, garnishing millions of plays within months of release. Galimatias has consistently received support from a number of musical outlets such as Majestic Casual, TheSoundYouNeed, Fader, and Earmilk, to name a few, and he has been recently quoted saying his mom really likes his music too.

Aside from working on new solo tracks, Matias has continued to collaborate with Alina on five other tracks in the last year, one of which was recently released and hit #1 on Hype Machine; all of which will be released this spring as a collaboration EP entitled "Urban Flora". 2015 will undoubtedly bring a lot of new material from Galimatias, including his highly-anticipated, yet to be announced, touring debut.
