2) Space Cake are a 5-piece rock/metal band based in and around Surrey. They started in 2004, founded by singer Ollie, drummer Jon, and bassist Jak. Originally, Ollie played guitar before lead guitarist Kieron joined. They played AC/DC and Pantera covers, among others, before rhythm guitarist Will joined in September 2006, when the band wrote their first original song, Do Something Stupid.
The band then proceeded to work on more original material, including Tick Tock (Bright Idea), Whore For Hollywood, and the 8-minute Art of War. The band is still working on more original songs, and are recording their songs on the 16th December.
