I didn't always love music. When I was a kid I would sneak out of class and hide in the little boys' room to avoid choir practice. Now music is undoubtedly part of my everyday life. My aspiration is to make a career out of songwriting and performing music live, by myself and with others.

I've played lots of different kinds of music. My first performance experience was in my senior high school jazz band. My first real band was a ska quartet, of all things. I've been in numerous groups since then. I've worked with everything from hardcore punk bands to indie-folk artists. My passion, however, lies within the all-encompassing rock/pop genre. That being said, I've always ascribed to the theory that if something sounds good, it doesn't matter what genre it is.

Guitar has always been my weapon of choice but I also love to sing. I can play bass and most percussion instruments, and fudge my way through anything else when I have to. I love experimenting with different sounds, particularly during the recording process.

"Zulu Panda" is my folk-rock solo project - as of the beginning of 2013, I have completed my first independent album entitled HOPE ALL ABANDONED. It features 13 of the best songs I have written over the last decade.

In the past I have recorded singles with "Duke & The Robobabes" (indie-folk-rock) and "World's Last Telegram" (hard rock), as well as an independent EP and music video with the "Rodney King Orchestra" (grunge-pop).
