COSMIC HOFFMANN started in the mid 70s in Germany as a free form electronic music project. Its mastermind Klaus Hoffmann-Hoock, being a real aficionado of the MELLOTRON and the synthesizers of that era, published after his first single in 1981 a row of highly appreciated CDs (Beyond the Galaxy, Shiva Connection, Electric Trick, Space Gems, Outerspace Gems, Hyperspace Gems...). Live concerts were given in several European countries. Many critics compare Klaus' unique space guitar and keyboard playing with TANGERINE DREAM's Phaedra-, Rubycon- or Encore-phase when highly atmospheric music still evolved spontaneously.
