Danish rockers Sparkplug was formed in 2000 and was schooled in Cream, Who, Hendrix and Zeppelin. They grew up with Atomic Swing, Dead Kennedys and Nirvana and the LOVE Queens of the Stone Age, Soundtrack of our Lives, Motorpsycho, Millionaire and Eagles of Death Metal.

They released their debut-album "Counter Culture" i 2003 (Germany 2004) and second album "Dharma Punks" in 2006. They've tourede Scandinavia and Germany, and rumour has it, that they are currently working on their third album.

There's also a younger Sparkplug on last.fm. It's a hardcore band from Newfoundland, Canada. They began in March 2006 with two drummers, guitar, bass and female vocals.
