Whilst Trondheim is filled with aspiring rock heroes, The Golden Leaves keeps gaining ground. The band plays rock with colossal riffs and energetic dedication. In their first album you will find everything from garage punk, riffing brit rock and melodious ballads. David Nikolaisen had been heard singing working as a waiter. The observant Javier Campos said he would love to play in a band with him. After having some beers together they had a mission of starting a band. They met up with Torleiv Berge, a local bartender and Christian Sundet who David had been introduced for on a cabin trip. After a couple of song writing sessions and band practices the boys gave Arthur Wiik, a co-worker of Javier the challenge of re-schooling himself into a bass player. The rumors started about a new unknown band and Arctic Fox Recordings gave the boys a chance to show their worth in their studio. Early 2018 The Golden Leaves' first single "Higher Than Ever" got released to great response both from critics and fans. The first show got booked at Good Omens the week after and the bar owner among others was shocked to see a line when opening. The place got packed and the band played a full hour show. Since that day the band has released an EP and one album and gained fans from all over the world.
