Tetu Shani is an award winning Kenyan singer-songwriter who currently describes his sound as Urban Folk, which is a blend of American folk, Rock, Roots and folkloric rhythms from his country.

He was nominated for East African Male Musician of the year 2016 at the Kenya Buzz Awards and is also a Global Music Award winner, winning silver for outstanding achievement at the 2017 awards.
