There are two bands known with the name Capac:
1. Formed in Alexandria, RO.
2. Formed in Liverpool, UK in 2008.

Capac (Alexandria)
The Band comprises two members.
- Cristi "punctdiform" Mitroi - solo guitar
- Bob "Stan's Adept" Firulescu - rhythm guitar/vocals

They sing a combination of neo-death/crap/wannabefunny metal/rock.

The name means "bottlecap" in romanian.

Capac (Liverpool)
A four piece avant-electronic-pop group.
The current line up comprises Gary Salomon (guitar and keys), Kate Smith (vocals and keys), Matt Parker (bass) and Stu Cook (electronics).

Stu and Gaz initially formed Capac in 2008 with former member Josh Davenport.

In 2010 Capac released their debut EP "Pastels" via the On The Shelf. Following a hiatus and personnel change, in 2014 Capac returned with a new EP "Nested" and accompaniment remix EP "The Other Branch" self released via Bandcamp and Bit Torrent Bundle.

The band is due to release its debut full length album "Sea Freeze" in May 2015 on the This is it Forever Imprint.
