Orangutan are nu-jazz / funk band from Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Part brass-laden instrumental grooves, part soulful vocals, almost all tracks center around the jazzy tones of the Fender Rhodes electric piano.

Orangutan are working on their first EP, completion due late '06, early '07.
