WeltenBrand is a band from the Principality of Liechtenstein, formed in 1995 by Oliver Falk. Vocalists Ritchie Wenaweser and Simone Steiner joined the project the same year. Shortly after forming, the group signed with Witchhunt Records and released their debut album "Das Rabenland," a darkwave recording with romantic themes that was well received within the genre.

In 1996, the band transitioned to Oliver Falk's own label, M.O.S. Records Ltd., and released their second album, "Das Nachtvolk," in 1997. This album introduced violinist Daniela Nipp and retained the band’s established sound, while refining musical and vocal arrangements.

WeltenBrand's third album, "Der Untergang von Trisona," appeared in 1999. It received positive media attention for its dynamic sound and dramatic intensity. The album featured a Neo Dark Classic style with medieval influences and included guest vocal contributions from Liv Kristine and Alexander Krull.

In 2002, the band released "In Gottes oder des Teufels Namen," which placed greater emphasis on clear vocal structures and direct compositions, while maintaining the distinctive elements of their music. Throughout their discography, WeltenBrand’s lyrics have consistently been based on myths and legends from Liechtenstein, as recorded by Dr. Otto Seger.

After M.O.S. Records Ltd. dissolved, WeltenBrand signed with Napalm Records in late 2002 and began work on their fifth album, "The End of the Wizard." During the production, the band expanded its line-up to include Mario Jahnke on drums, Christian Sele on bass, and vocalist Dina Falk. This album continued to build upon Oliver Falk’s compositions while aiming for broader appeal, offering listeners an immersive experience rooted in the folklore and legends of Liechtenstein.
