With a golden head and obsidian face, vocals crystalizing into diamond hairs that stand on the back of every audience member from San Francisco's historic rock 'n roll haven Slim's to Los Angeles' El Rey Theatre, Silverlake's Spaceland, and San Diego's Soma, The Deadlies have emerged with the splendor of ecclesiastical dignitaries of rock 'n roll, sent to condemn, oscillate and hound for the almighty Grail among such predecessors as Austin, Texas's the 13th Floor Elevators, Philadelphia's Cold Cave, and Los Angeles' own Darker My Love. Gathering their meat from Bukowski's burlesque clubs, Nikola Tesla's alternating current, and radio play on such stations as Indie 103.1 and Kroq The Deadlies are everything that will make your toes tingle, belly ache, and nerves shake. With a fresh mass appeal, natural ferocity, and a headful of rough mixes, The Deadlies head into their Los Angeles studio to record their highly anticipated debut album set to be released in 2009. With songs like "Nowhere to Run" and "One More Time", Rodney Bingenheimer can only dream of these boys alive in 1976. This is ageless youth. Beware the uproar of indigenous rock 'n roll.
