THE MADNA is a Japanese visual kei band from Tokyo, formed on October 31st, 2021. The band consists of vocalist Ryouta (涼太) from Neverland, guitarist Takashi (太嘉志) from DADAROMA, bassist Tomo (朋) from DADAROMA and drummer Rio (理緒) from Smileberry. Their label is little HEARTS.

The group name stands for “MAD” and “DNA” and represents their essence on the music scene, as the name suggests. Their music bounces freely through a wide variety of different genres, creating an eclectic and highly energetic sound. The band blends elements of the subgenres loud kei and oshare kei, with happier parts of a pop punk sound with other more aggressive metal parts. They consider themselves as a ミクスチャー (mixture) band, conveying hardcore rock and colorful pop in one, composing songs that change violently bringing us the thrill and the pleasure of being on a roller coaster. They intend to make this their last band and make the most of it in all the senses.

Their debut single MAD GAME was released on November 8, 2021. It was followed by the mini-album Beautiful inferno, released on December 22, 2021. Shortly after, they had their official debut performance at Shinjuku BLAZE on December 26th, 2021.

Their next release was the mini-album Ugly heaven, released on March 9, 2022. It featured six tracks, with a DVD of recording of three tracks played live.

After that came a maxi-single titled GiANT KiLLiNG, with two tracks and a DVD with the music video for the title track.

On November 14, they began a tour, performing at Sapporo CRAZY MONKEY. It was in connection with their next maxi-single titled CREAM SODA, released on November 23. It contained two tracks and a DVD with the music video for the title track. The tour concluded on December 26, with a performance at Shinjuku BLAZE.

They began 2023 by joining Rides In ReVellion and Ashmaze. on a threeman live performance at Osaka MUSE. The performance was followed by two other concerts with ZOMBIE on February 3 and March 11.

Their first release of the year was the maxi-single sweet dream, released on April 5, 2023. It featured two tracks and a DVD with the music video for the title track.

On October 25, they released their first full album, titled ElecTЯiP, with ten tracks, and a DVD with a music video, a lyric video, a "making of" video and a video interview with the band.

They began 2024 with the maxi-single titled BLAZE. It featured two tracks and a DVD with the music video for the title track. Their latest release is the EP titled BLUE STAR, with four tracks.
