Phestur formed in april of '99 and since then had gone through several changes to become what they are today.
early on while developing their sound the band experimented with several styles and genres leading up to what they portray at present.
to describe phestur's sound, one can hear the chugging quick riffs of punk, the angst driven dirt of grunge, the melodic vocals and stylings of rock.
so to put it in a 'genre', one might say they've created their own...'rough trade' rock.
with 4 albums, many E.P's, 2 grammy considerations, and years of experience on and off stage, PHESTUR comes down to this...a four piece band from cleveland, ohio that simply kixx ass!
