Svítání has been existing since November 1997, when Jiří Fadrný met Štěpán Policer in Brno, Czech Republic. These two students made up a group, which consisted of their friends, very early Zdeněk Lichtneger came and he with Jiří Fadrný are the only members of the first set of a group. Many members took place in first years of group existence. In July 2000 the group won the prize called Krtek (Mole) at the festival Zahrada (Garden), which is the most appreciated prize of acoustic music in the Czech Republic. Svitani played more times in the Czech TV and recorded for radio stations. In November 2001 Svitani recorded its first album "Ve dne v noci", followed by "Live CD" recorded at the concert that took place in Brno Town Hall on Jun 2nd 2003. From that time on the group hasn´t changed members, you can see them in the section Members. Svitani played about 40 concerts in year 2004 and is working on new songs and new studio album now. In Novemter 2005 SVitani recorder its second album album "Quo vadis, Angelina?" which is in its own style - Original Czech Music. Read more on Last.fm.
