Deep roots reggae, heavy dancehall, nice lovers rock, uplifting rock steady – Boomrush Backup are well known for their diversity in styles. Since late 2006 Boomrush Backup work as a backing band for reggae- and dancehall-singers in Oldenburg (Germany). They work with lots of national and international artists like Louie Culture, Mr. Peppa, Ganjaman, Martin Zobel … and support newcomer artists as well. They played shows on festivals and in clubs all over Germany and in Austria, i.e. Reggae Jam and Chiemsee Reggae Summer.
Mastermind of the band is keyboard player Felix, surrounded by Christian on the drums, Thomas on the bass, Simon on the guitar and Andi on saxophone and keys. Together they build a musical base for the singers, which is widely accepted by promoters, artists and last but not least the reggae massive.
