It's not often you meet a man with a girl's name, which is usually the first topic that comes up when Kelly is introduced. His influences came from Detroit and Chicago during the mid-to-late eighties and early nineties.

"It was DJs playing this music back-in-the-day that gave me the bug. I've been playing records since '91 and used to run a record shop, so production followed this naturally. I've played at all sorts of crazy parties through the years on boats, beaches, warehouses, lots of top nightclubs and thanks to my good friend Tee Davies, I also had the chance to play on a variety of radio shows. I've had some amazing times and been in some strange places," he laughs.

This experience has seen him play alongside some of the world's top name DJs, including Terry Francis, Eddie Richards, Mr. C, Colin Dale, Rolando, Peace Division, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Maya Jane Coles, Ralph Lawson, Nathan Coles, Pure Science and Dave Mothersole. He is currently running the Rhythm & Rhyme parties in Portsmouth.
