Orreaga 778 es una banda Punk Oi! del Pais Vasco, que nació a finales de 2004 entre Hernani y Añorga. Tras publicar una maqueta con 4 canciones publicaron su primer disco de larga duración en 2006: “Bide bakarra”.

En 2009, y tras casi dos años de parón publicaron "Aurrera". Tras el cambio de un integrante de la banda en 2010, tuvieron otro parón de 2 años y en 2012 volvieron a actuar con un nuevo batería. En 2015 publicaron “Aske izan arte”.

Oi! Punk band from Basque Country active since 2005. The bandname is taken as a tribute to the old basque tribes who defeated Charlemagne army in the Battle of Roncesvaux Pass (Orreaga is Roncesvalles in basque lenguage) in the year 778, after the french army destroyed Pamplona (ancient capital of the basques) in it's way of retreat from Zaragoza, crossing the Pyrinees back to France.
Their lyrics are exclusively in Basque lenguage and are filled with basque historical and cultural references, current political situation and personal view points and experiences.
