Italian singer and composer was born in Conversano (Bari) – Italy,
She started studying classical voice and jazz at the Conservatory of Music “N.Piccinni” Bari, “N.Rota” Monopoli (Ba) and to the Accademia Musicale Pescarese (Pe).
She studied with Amelia Felle, Gianni Lenoci, Roberto Laneri ,Joelle Leandre, Paolo Damiani, Stefano Battaglia, Luisa Castellani, Liliana Poli, Alvise Vidolin.
She studied reanissance composer of European History : J.Dowland ,P.Verdelot, W.Byrd, C.Monteverdi , and composer of modern musical forms : L.Nono, K.Stockhausen, J.Cage, J.Maldonado, F.Poulenc , M.Ravel , F.Monpou.
She is very interested to the study of Folk Songs as those of L.Berio , X. Montsalvatge, M.Salvador, H.Villa Lobos, F.Sor, J.Rodrigo, F.G.Lorca .
She has founded in Conversano (Bari-Italy) a center of polyvalent art : ARTERA’, and she realizes laboratories, stage, seminars and concert among which “Barrio de tango” freely drawn from “ Maria de Buenos Aires” of A.Piazzolla and H.Ferrer with the share of Alessandro Haber and the bandoneonist Daniele di Bonaventura.
She makes search on the sonorous world . She works on the improvisation, education to the listening of body and voice as sound objects.
She has published with La Meridiana in April 2009, “TESAMI” a musical fable to educate to the listening and “ QUESTO STRANO STRANO MONDO Giochi per imparare a improvvisare” (game sto learn to improvise )
In July 2008 she has participated in the 28th ISME Word Conference “Music at all ages” with two projects :
• Propp’s narrative structures and musical improvisation – (Siem-Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna). Laboratory of Permanent Musical Search near the Academy Siena Jazz conducted by Stefano Battaglia with Roberta De Piccoli on the project of her search .
• Listening a form of creavity : Luigi Nono , La fabbrica illuminata , an experience” with Cristina Fedrigo realized at the Conservatore “B.Marcello” Venezia- Italy.
