Wild Style refers to at least two different artists:

1. The soundtrack to the groundbreaking hip hop movie Wild Style, originally released in 1983. Tracks on the soundtrack have since been sampled by artists such as - Wiseguys, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, Beastie Boys, Beck, Cyprus Hill, DJ Shadow, Nas & Public Enemy et al.

2. A Japanese pop rock duo, active throughout the mid 90's, consisting of Masahiko Arimachi (有待雅彦) on vocals and Kazuhiro Hara (原一博) on keyboards and guitar. Due to their flamboyant style, it can be claimed that Wild Style took heavy influence from the then-highly marketable visual kei style. Although the duo were not superstars like many other semi-visual acts during their day, they did have some mild success, as demonstrated when their "Dare Yori mo Kimi Dake ni (誰よりも君だけに)" single reached number 33 on the Japanese Oricon charts. Unfortunately, after 5 years of activity, and releasing six singles and two full length albums, Wild Style ended up disbanding in 1998. Both Arimachi and Hara remained active in the Japanese music scene, with Arimachi forming one last visual-inspired band Shammon, and Hara remaining active as a songwriter and producer.
