Visual Discrimination was a late 80's hardcore band from California. Often described as a late 80's California version of New York Hardcore.

VD started out practicing in a Garage in Cerritos, Ca. in 1985, Breaking up in 1991 Reformed again in 1996 and played a couple years hanging it up in 1998. VD played hundreds of shows with the likes of, Exploited, GBH, DOA, SNFU, Uniform Choice, Half Off, CH3, Dr. Know, RKL, Asexuals, Cromags, Offspring, Agnostic Front, Final Conflict, Sick Of It All, MadBall, Excel, Poison Idea, Integrity, Avail, Rat Pack, Blast, and hundreds more. VD's very first real big show was with GBH/Poison Idea/and Final Conflict.....they had had played dozens of parties, and small Basement/underground...LOL shows all over So.Cal before getting the chance to play with these greats.

VD has three official releases, and have appeared on a dozen or more compilations.

VD recently Started practicing again and have a few local So. Cal. Shows coming up along with some Northern California, and a few out of state shows....

Spring/Summer 2011 may show some U.S. Touring Activity.....and maybe some European activity?
