LECTURE started after the demise of our previous bands: Never Reach Home, Ultimate Blowup, The Jackal Awaits. We started rehearsing in the summer of 2011 and started recording our first ep in the fall of 2011. It took a few months before the final product finally appeared. Having done a European Tour and many local shows with our previous bands, LECTURE aims to bring a fresh taste and perspective to the worldwide hardcore community. Being familiar with the hardworking and honest ethics of the DIY hardcore scene, we have so much to offer for years to come as a young, inspired and matured young band. As one of our song titles suggests, "What The Future Holds", is what we are eager to explore and our aim is to make the best of our years as young adults, never losing the content and message of hardcore, sharing our compassion and dreams with open souls and free minds.
