Versoma is a band working out of Philadelphia, PA. We're just getting things fully underway at the moment. The only thing that can be said for sure is that there will be a whole lot of noise and a whole lot of volume. With any luck there will be some melody and some sort of rhthym involved as well.

Dudes in this band have also been in, or are still in, the bands Hot Cross, Transistor Transistor, Anodyne, LickGoldenSky, Orchid, Bucket Full of Teeth, Saetia and Wolves. This may or may not be a good reason to listen to the music we are currently making. You'll have to decide that for yourself. Needless to say were not really interested in repeating ourselves or continually writing the same record for the rest of our lives.

We just recorded 6 songs that will be coming out as an EP on Robotic Empire called "Life During Wartime", in August. We recorded this EP ourselves at Translator Audio in Brooklyn, NYC, and we offer it as a first sonic example of what we are capable of. Their are two Mp3's up from the EP for you to listen to currently. Check them out. If you dig them, awesome.

Were going to be looking to play some shows around the NorthEast this summer. In the mean time we are going to keep practicing, keep writing new songs and generally working hard. With any luck we will keep expanding our possibilities, keep refining our abilities as a band, and write even bigger and better songs. I think were all feeling a lot of potential with this, so hopefully you'll all stick around and we'll see where it goes.
