Promising Attempt was created in 2007 as a musical outlet for song-writer Terrell Atrophy. Along with friends Tim Balch, Joe Janton, Charley Birkhead, and a rotating cast of backing musicians dubbed "The Holy Saviour Club", they recorded and released "Promising Attempt Is Just A Red Herring" through West 80 Records in October 2010. They also released a demo EP of Beatles covers, "A Hard Demos Night", in 2011, Promising Attempt will hit the road this summer. Read more on Last.fm.
