Biography of Blake Worthington

I wish someone else would write this for me so I would sound cool...

I was born in western Kentucky, but soon after hatching my family moved to Michigan. We lived in Michigan for a short amount of time and soon caught the train back to Kentucky. I grew up on a farm in Utica, Kentucky, raising cattle and growing crops. I started playing music on the farm and quickly got entangled in the craft. Since then, I have been surrounded by music and have always held it in very high regard. I finished grade school and moved to Murfreesboro/Nashville Tennessee to go to college. I attend Middle Tennessee State University. I am in my last year of school and will graduate with a Music Business Major. College has been a great time to grow as a musician and songwriter. I am glad I chose to stay in school. I have been playing in the Southeast for a couple of years now and will soon be able to branch out and play around the country (world?). My biggest influences include: Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, My Morning Jacket, Fleet Foxes, Nickel Creek, The Avett Brothers and Tom Petty. Hopefully you will enjoy my music as much I enjoy writing and playing it.
