The Waiting Process was a band from Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York that existed from 1998 until 2001. The members went on to play in groups such as Brand New, The Reunion Show, A-Life, Stealing Jane, Heads Vs. Breakers, The Modern, Keep Breathing, Broadcaster, Breslau and many more. The band, Taking Back Sunday, took their name from their song, "Taking Back Sunday".
