Crisis Jane is a pop punk band from Winnipeg, Canada. Formed in early 2009, the band has already created a fresh sound, developed a notoriously energetic live show and earned a loyal fan base. Heavy rhythms and low ends meet dynamic leads, charismatic choruses and bittersweet lyrics.

When Winnipeg rock act Moments of Brilliance disbanded in late 2008, three of its members- guitarist Krys Tennant, bassist Steven Foster and drummer Brendan Scott- decided to form a new band. After calling up their friend and former LiveOnArrival member, Mike Burnard to sing and solidifying the line up by recruiting Ashton Barter on lead guitar, Crisis Jane was complete. Since then, the quintet have recorded demos and found a strong following in their home province of Manitoba.

Despite the fact that no member of the band is older than 22, they have collectively experienced more than most musicians could dream of. With their previous acts, they have toured across Canada- from Atlantic to Pacific- garnered a respectable amount of radio airplay, released 6 EP's and sold 1000's of CD's. This past involvement of its member has led to Crisis Jane's quick establishment in the Canadian music scene. Crisis Jane’s first EP, “Don’t Flatter Yourself” was released in May 2009, just weeks before a self-planned full Eastern Canadian tour that will bring the band to the Atlantic and back. Already, Crisis Jane songs are hitting the airwaves of local and national radio stations.

It takes only the most dedicated musicians to unite and start from scratch, writing, performing and promoting with a new band. Crisis Jane- five friends sharing a passion for songs, lyrics, the stage and the road- plan to use their vast experience and tireless determination to bring their band and their music to stages and speakers not only across Canada, but the world.
