One day Ayad Al Adhamy (former synth wizard of Passion Pit) looked over at his guitar collecting dust in the corner and decided that he had had enough. He picked it up, fell back in love and Team Spirit was born.

Needing a band, he got in touch with his old shred-metal college roommate Roman Tobias Pettigrew (who had spent the last few years in Los Angeles starting a cult/band called The People’s Church of Animal Town) and recruited his recording partner in crime: Champagne Dave Weingarten. The lineup was completed by Cosmo Di Giulio (ex-DOM) who was found and nearly lost again after a night’s drinking in a country music bar.

Bursting with soulpower, Team Spirit’s music is a cocktail of Motown basslines, Thin Lizzy-esque duelling guitars, 90’s sing-along hooks, Glam beats and Chuck Berry feet.
