Rhythm Hawks create an explosive brew of Blues, Rock & Roll and Psychedelia and hail from New Zealand's capitol city Wellington, Influenced by sounds as varied as old time field hollers, Mississippi delta blues, Chicago blues, 50's rock n roll, Swingin 60's london, Krautrock and Late 60's psychedelic blues such as Hendrix and Cream. Formed in late 2009 they released the Great Hunt E.P showcasing some of their early influences.
