Heavy, dark, and weird is the best way to describe this band from Athens, GA. Born and raised outside of Jackson, MS, Josh Wootton and Brent Blalock play hard and heavy rock that pushes the envelope of what is expected from a rock band.

Their first album, "Marriage" (2005) is cased in between two pieces of wood with a nut and bolt holding it together. Their second album, "II" (2008) is sewn into a quilted cloth envelope. Both unique and different, these albums showcase the band’s desire to experiment with unconventional forms of rock’n’roll as well as presentation.

In 2008 MARRIAGE added a third member, a bassist/multi instrumentalist named Ted Kuhn. MARRIAGE’s third album, “Ebenezer” is due to come out in May of 2009.
