Ivan recorded and self-released an album called Spaces. in 2013. He then recruited long-time friends Daniel Macias-Bernardo, Dev Bhat, and Ben Everett for a one-off performance. After positive reception, the band regrouped in 2014 as a full functioning band, moving Dev to guitar and bringing in Evan Massi on drums, completing the lineup.
