The David Yeager Band is an acoustic-based 4-piece group incorporating vocal harmonies, violin and layered guitars over a rock rhythm section. They project a rich cohesive sound countered by a whimsical, off-beat edginess in the vein of early Dave Matthews Band or Blues Traveler. Their insightful, tightly-woven lyrics push them toward the folk-rock category, reminiscent of solo artists such as James Taylor, Rich Mullins and David Wilcox. All DYB members are committed Christians and many of their songs address topics of faith.
