1) Obstinate is a band that has been the result of a pursuit for original sounding music, whose sound would be dictated by the confluence of each members' individual musical tastes rather than aiming for a set genre of music. The vocal elements of Obstinate is chiefly added by Abhinav, whose lyrical message revolves around a never giving up mentality, constantly challenging ourselves to overcome obstacles and finding our answers to life’s challenges. The guitars are added by Bily and Abhi, with Bily also doubling up in melodic singing sections. On the bass is Gunzan, with Reeshav on the drums, and completing the lineup is audio engineer Hanish.

Mostly the members of Obstinate have been producing music for a long time in various musical projects spanning several genres. It was in Pune where everyone met, and started recording on elements that is now the band Obstinate.
