Prose are Steady on the beats and Efeks on the mic.

Prose first burst on to the scene in 2004 with the single 'Originate.' A release solely funded and promoted through the Boom Bap Professionals label. It earned great acclaim as an independent hip hop release: fully utilising the internet as a promotional and distribution tool.

This was followed by two EP's 'The Wasted Talent EP' and 'Running Man EP' the latter spawning the hit single 'Running Man'. They later went on to release two compilation projects namely 'The Boom Bap Bootleg Volumes 1 & 2' before releasing their debut full length LP 'Force of Habit' which went on to be considered one of the top 3 albums of 2010. Prose's album 'The Dark Side of The Boom' was released in November 2011. Prose's latest album Back In The Habit was released on July 30, 2012. Read more on Last.fm.
