Landspeed is a musical duo from Saskatchewan, Canada that consists of Singer/Songwriter/Producer "Virtuenasty" and Singer/Songwriter "Gekkospeed". Best known for their hit song, “eighty”, their debut album “speed classics” released in March of 2019. Their other full length albums consist of “L$1k” (June 2020) and “L$2k” (June 2022). The duo’s last project before their hiatus was their single,“Sunshine” released on the 21st of July 2022. As of 2022 Virtuenasty and Gecko have decided to put Landspeed on hiatus to focus on other areas of life. Virtuenasty has started a solo career under the name “virtue”, and releasing his debut single “first time” on the 8th of September, 2022. Around April 23 2023, Virtue stated in the comments of an instagram post that “Ain’t nothin happen gecko just wants to pursue his profession rather than music”, later stating that “everyone follows the path they perceive best fitting”.
