Coming from a diverse Buffalo music scene, full of a wide range of alternative, punk, indie, and hardcore artists, The Mixtape chose a different style to create as their own. When asked what genre they are, they laugh and ask the same question. Incorporating emotion and melodic melodies with heavy guitars and breakdowns, all while straying from a cliche and overused sound, they can leave their parts stuck in your head for days.

Passionate performances and positivity radiate from the guys in the band, doing what they love and doing it well. With a couple tours already under their belt, The Mixtape is making nothing but progress, becoming more of a regional and nationally recognized band. Expect some real nice stuff in the future!
