ARTIST BIO
Dave was born in Eugene, Oregon, but spent his formative years in Amherst, MA and eventually attended Oberlin College. After a summer beneath the Tetons, teaching in the Black Hills, travel through Central America, and treks across southern Idaho, Dave finally came back east to join the Cambridge folk scene. He completed his first CD several years later.

As a result, Dave was selected as a finalist for both the Mountain Stage and Falcon Ridge emerging artists' competition. "The Burn of Summer" enjoyed regular airtime on Folk Radio's WUMB and Emerson College's WERS. Several years later, Dave returned to the Pioneer Valley, home of strong coffee, and strong women.

Currently, Dave can be found touring various pockets of New England, and is occasionally "sighted" with "The BROthers;" aka the Bigfoot Research Organization, who maintain a myspace account, despite scientific ridicule.

Dave also makes a yearly pilgrimage to the Kerrville Folk Festival where he and his Constant Clip labelmates swap campfire songs with Eugene, Oregon's Brian QTN 'till dawn. The circle is now complete.

Dave's second album is currently being recorded with the assistance of one of Boston's most adventurous lap-steele players, Lloyd Thayer, as well as the exceptional lead playing of Jared Fiske of Fiske and Herrera.
