Ben Lennon (born in Kiltyclogher, County Leitrim, in 1928; died 2020) was an Irish fiddler. The eldest of fours sons, there was music on both sides of the family. His father, Jim Lennon, played the fiddle and his mother Sally Lennon (née McGriskin) played piano and sang. A second cousin of his mother, Willie Ferguson, a fiddler, had a strong influence on Lennon's learning of music. He taught his brother, Charlie Lennon, to play the fiddle. Read more on Last.fm.
